What is a "Soling" you ask? There is probably a better answer, but to me, it's like one of those little 12', 2 person sailboat you see skipping around on the lakes, except at CBYC these Solings are 28' long and go like hell!

Roby Palmberg, Angeya's skipper/owner raced Solings around North America and Finland for years. When Dick and Jim decided to put on a "Soling Race" day at the club, Paul and I figured that with Roby's experience, and the fact that Roby can smell wind 5 miles away, we'd be more than happy to crew with him for this event.

Winning isn't everything is it Roby! Don't worry, Paul and I will figure out how to do that spinnaker thing for next year. Second place wasn't bad though!

PS - The last picture is Roby at the helm while Paul and I . . . . work really hard and fast, but never do get that spinnaker up right!
